Aruba -- Where Is It?

Aruba is a tropical paradise located in the Caribbean 15 miles off the Venezuelan coast. Around 100,000 people call Aruba their home. The island measures about 20 miles long and 6 miles wide, and although it seems small, you'd be amazed at all the features it has to offer!

Aruba is truly a vacationer's dream. No matter what you like to do, you can find it in Aruba. Maybe you love the beach. If so, you're in luck! Aruba's beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world, featuring sparkling turquoise water and warm white sand. You could easily spend an entire day lounging on the beach, listening to the soothing sound of the crashing waves.

If something more active is your idea of a good time, then how about snorkeling or scuba diving? Marvel at the amazing undersea life as you swim like a fish through crystal clean water. You can even try snuba, a fun hybrid of snorkeling and scuba diving.

Maybe you prefer to stay on land. If so, then there's no shortage of things for you to enjoy. Horseback riding, golfing, shopping, dining, fishing -- these are all options that are available to you in Aruba.

If you're the athletic type, why not try hiking or mountain biking? Aruba's gorgeous national park offers amazing beauty everywhere you look. Rent a Jeep and go cruising, or get even more adventurous and tear up the road on a Harley Davidson!

In this small island paradise, dreams can become reality. Be pampered at a world-class spa, or relax in your hotel room and order room service. Feel like dining out? There are a wide variety of restaurants in Aruba -- everything from amazing local cuisine to traditional fast food is available for your dining pleasure!

If you love to shop, then you'll love Aruba! There are a plethora of stores and shops offering apparel, decor, liquor, perfume, jewelry, locally made art, and much more.

Perhaps you love the nightlife. If so, then you'll feel right at home in Aruba. The clubs and lounges in Aruba offer something for everyone -- from those who want an island experience to those who like techno and rock music.

Aruba is a top vacation destination, and it's easy to see why. Anything you could ever want in a vacation is there waiting for you to enjoy -- all you have to do is show up!
