Aruba: Things to Do

Aruba is a Caribbean island located approximately 15 miles from the coast of Venezuela. A vacationer's paradise, Aruba offers so many things to see and do! If you're planning a vacation to this gorgeous destination, check out our ideas for things to do while you're there:

Enjoy the Beach: If you're a beach lover, then you'll be in paradise! Aruba's beaches are resplendent, featuring clean white sand and sparkling blue water. Work on your tan, or frolic in the ocean. Collect sea shells or take a stroll down the shoreline.

Get Active: Want to get moving? Aruba offers a variety of fun activities. Go scuba diving, snorkeling, or try snuba, a fun cross between the two. Try horseback riding or rent a Harley and roar through the streets. Hike through Aruba's breathtaking national park and marvel at all the wildlife and scenery. Are you the adventurous type? Try parasailing or windsurfing!

Go Shopping: Aruba is a great place to shop! The various stores offer great prices on items like fine liquor, perfume, apparel, decor, jewelry and more. Go native and purchase one of the gorgeous offerings from local artisans.

Eat like Royalty: No matter what your idea of good food is, you'll find it in Aruba. There are island restaurants that serve native cuisine, Dutch restaurants, Caribbean restaurants, American restaurants, steakhouses, seafood restaurants, and even fast food establishments!

Dance the Night Away: Aruba's many hotspots offer you the opportunity to dance the night away to the sounds of island music. Like techno or rock? There are clubs to accommodate you! If you're in the mood for live music, you can find it at one of the many lounges on the island.

Get Some Culture: Aruba is home to various landmarks and museums. View ancient artifacts or marvel at the 30,000 coins at the Numismatics museum. Head to De Olde Molen, an old windmill that features a quaint restaurant, or marvel at Hooiberg, a haystack shaped mountain.

As you can see, there's a remarkable variety of things to do in Aruba. No matter what your idea of a great vacation is, you can fulfill it on this gorgeous tropical island!
